RPS Community - help shape the future of Rochester Public Schools!

Over the past year, RPS has gathered input from students, families, staff, and community members to shape the priorities of our 2030 Strategic Plan — and a final draft will head to the School Board in October.

The plan is built around four priority areas:
✅ Strong Academics
✅ Student Navigation
✅ Supportive Communities
✅ Systems for Improvement

Each includes specific projects that will guide our work over the next four years — and we want to hear from you before it's finalized.

Share what you like, what concerns you, ideas you have, or questions you want answered. You don't have to weigh in on every area — just where you have something to add. Complete the form at this link: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8979622/RPS-2030-Feedback-Form

The feedback form closes end of day September 10.

🎓✨ Today we celebrated our incredible 5th graders as they prepare to leave Jefferson Elementary and begin their next chapter!

Over the years, they have grown as learners, leaders, friends, and role models. They have filled our halls with curiosity, kindness, laughter, and school spirit, leaving a lasting impact on our Jefferson family.

While we will miss seeing their faces every day, we are excited to watch them continue to learn, grow, and achieve great things in middle school and beyond.

Congratulations, 5th graders! We are proud of all you have accomplished and can't wait to see what the future holds for each of you.

💙Once a Jaguar, always a Jaguar! 💙

🐾🎉 Our 5th Grade ROAR Activity was a huge success!
Students had the chance to take on their parents in kickball, trivia, and a variety of other fun challenges. The competition was friendly, the laughter was nonstop, and memories were made all around. In the end, the parents proved that they still know a thing or two and came away with the victory! 🏆😄
Thank you to the volunteers who worked hard to organize this special event and to the parents who were able to join in the fun. Your time and support helped make the day a memorable one for our students.
Fun was had by all, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to bring families together for such a great ROAR experience! 🐾💙

🌎✈️ Our first graders wrapped up their study of the seven continents with a delicious adventure around the world!
Today, students had the opportunity to sample foods inspired by different countries and cultures, helping them connect their classroom learning to real-world experiences. From trying new flavors to learning about traditions from around the globe, it was a fun and memorable way to celebrate all they’ve learned this year.
