5th Graders began learning about Ruby Bridges last week, and have been so inspired by the strength she had to show at such a young age. Today, we began watching the Ruby Bridges Story and are so excited to continue learning about her life as a Civil

Science
Grow it!
Seeds are not the only things that grow.
Here are some ways to experiment with growing.

Cut a carrot off about 1 inch from the large end.
Put the cut end face down in a shallow dish.
Keep enough water to cover half the carrot.
Watch it grow!

You can do the same thing with the top of a pineapple, onion, celery or beets.
