Nazareth University student Katherine Paulus, a History and Italian language major, presented her research on the linguistic patterns and history of the Rochester Italian American community at the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums (MAAM) annual meeting on October 8-10, 2024. Paulus was the only undergraduate invited to attend the poster session, during which her thoughtful and scholarly approach to the topic led the President of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums to invite Paulus to a leadership lunch where she spoke with board members of MAAM. Paulus will graduate in May of 2025 and plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in History with a concentration in Medieval studies.
