4 years ago, AP Tutoring opened our doors with the hopes that we could make small differences in the lives of others. Small differences became big accomplishments, as we have grown and improved along with our students. We want to thank all of the students, both past and present, for letting us be a part of your academic journey! We would not be as successful as we are today if it were not for the endless support of our students and their families. We would like to thank all of you for continuing to support us and wish everyone a Happy New Year! May you all continue to be successful in your endeavors in the upcoming year :)
AP Tutoring
Private tutor in mathematics, chemistry and biologies, with a specialty in test preparation!
Good afternoon everyone!
With the start of the school year, we are excited to be back! We will begin fall sessions after the labor day holiday weekend, in order to give students time to adjust and assess their supplemental education needs, as we all transition to in-person learning environments again.
We are currently accepting new clients, with preferential scheduling of high school and college students. We are also offering in person tutoring, with certain health and safety conditions, although virtual requests are still recommended and preferred as well.
We appreciate all of our current clients and thank all of you potential clients for considering AP Tutoring for you educational needs! Have a fabulous rest of the summer season! 🙂
Hi students and parents! We want to remind everyone that we will remain virtual through the end of this school year. It is getting close to finals season, and we will be able to accept new clients at this time. The number of slots is unfortunately limited, so don't hesitate to contact us for your tutoring needs!
Last thing is a quick reminder that we offer sessions via Google Duo and Zoom only. We accept online payments, as well. We would like to extend appreciation to all of our new page viewers for considering us.
Once again, we would like to thank our ongoing clients for choosing AP Tutoring for all of your supplemental education needs and wish you all a wonderful week! :)
Hello, everyone!
We apologise for not keeping our page active this past semester - due to all the changes with the school system guidelines, we were required to focus on the success of current students before we could actively take on new students.
I will try to keep this brief! As of now, we will not be taking on any new students for the upcoming finals season as we are currently booked to capacity - we will resume accepting new students after the holiday breaks end.
Please note that we will NOT be accepting any in-person requests. Due to the nature of in-person tutoring, it is simply not possible to guarantee the safety of all students and tutors with the inability to maintain proper social distancing guidelines from being in close proximity.
We will begin accepting virtual-only clients in January, and will provide updates on contact and payment procedures for potential new students then.
Thank you again for choosing AP Tutoring for all your academic needs!
To all of our current and potential clients:
With the school year approaching, we would like to confirm that the business will resume tutoring and homeschooling options starting with the beginning of the college semester in late August.
We will switch our focus to specializing supplemental learning, and will be offering in-person academic support to those struggling with virtual learning platforms.
Due to the nature of in-person tutoring and homeschooling, I would like to remind everyone that here at AP Tutoring, we take health and safety incredibly seriously - especially so now, as our tutors have young children in their own homes, as well. We require all families and tutors do daily fever checks, and students/families MUST be 24 hours fever free before sessions can resume. We feel it's important that both the tutor and family know they are as safe and as protected as possible. Face masks on students and tutors are required, for the safety of all students.
We require notification of anyone in a household who has come into contact, or had possible exposure to, positive COVID cases. If you've been exposed, we will enforce the 2 week quarantine period, and resume sessions afterwards. Anyone found to be in contact with a positive COVID case without notification will have an immediately terminated contract with no chance of renewal.
Those with district-determined learning standards will be given precedence. We appreciate all of your patience and understanding as we adjusted our procedures to reflect school system changes and ongoing health recommendation updates.
We look forward to seeing everyone again this Autumn! Thank you and enjoy the rest of summer break! 😁
Good morning everyone - we want to take a short moment to address the recently announced changes to SUNY and local colleges, in wake of the COVID-19 emergence in New York.
Our policies will currently be unchanged, unless the threat to public health extends to local community centers. High school students will not be affected unless libraries or community meeting spaces close.
For our current and prospective college students - we WILL be holding our normal sessions, and are offering the option of extended time slots for students who may struggle with the transition from lecture-based to online-based content.
Due to the close nature of tutoring (sitting within 6 feet), we want to note that any student or family member who experiences cold or flu like symptoms should stay home so as not to risk the health of tutors, or other students and their families. We require a minimum of 24 hours of fever-free symptoms before students will be allowed to resume sessions. If Aaryn feels any of the same symptoms, she will be cancelling sessions for the same reason. Please remember that this falls under the medical policy and will not be of cost to clients!
Lastly, if in-person tutoring is not a viable option, we do offer virtual and online options! If you have any questions, please send us a message and we will help answer them to the best of our ability. 🙂

Good Morning Everyone! Due to the number of school closings, we will not be holding sessions today. Avoid travel if you can, but plan for double the normal commute time if you must be out! Sessions are expected to resume Sunday, as usual 😁

We would like to welcome back all of the high school students returning to class today, and wish continued rest and relaxation to our college students still on break.
Please don't forget to start studying now, for those of you taking January Regents exams! As we all know from the holidays, two weeks can quickly fly by before you know it.. we will be holding regents exam review sessions up until exam week, as needed.
Sending you all good luck for a smooth first day back! 😁
3 years ago, AP Tutoring was founded with the hopes that we could make small differences in the lives of others. Small differences became big accomplishments, as we grow and change with our students. We want to thank all of the students who have been with us since the beginning, and those that have come and gone since, for letting us be a part of your journey! We would not be as successful as we are today if it were not for the endless support of our students, their families and our own family and friends. We thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts, for continuing to support us and wish everyone a fruitful New Year!
We would like to extend congratulations to all of our graduating college students this semester! It has been an honor, and a privilege, to work with each and every one of you and we extend many wishes of good luck and success in your future endeavors!
To all of our high school, and continuing college students, we hope you have a fabulous and festive holiday season full of friends, family and relaxation!
In order for us to finalize fall adjustments and prepare for the upcoming January regents/spring semester, this is a reminder that the office will be closed from tomorrow, December 21st, through Thursday, January 2 (not including the pre-approved sessions!).
We want to thank all of our students for working as diligently as they do, and finishing out the pre-holiday exam rush with flying colors - our students are each wonderful and inspiring people; among many things, they each act as constant reminders why we do what we do here, at AP Tutoring! Your success is always our goal, and you've all earned some well deserved rest and relaxation this holiday season, enjoy! 😁
We want to wish all of our college students the best of luck on their finals this and next week, with congratulations to those graduating this semester!
As a side note: we would like to warn prospective students that we are unable to accept new clients until after the current semester ends, in order to accommodate our current students through their exams. We can begin meeting with new clients after the school year resumes in January, for both college and high school students. Thank you for your patience in the meantime! 😁
