Hello, Facebook!
‘Tis the season for lots of honey! We have Spring, Fall, and some solids from past seasons. Our price remains at $10 per jar, thanks to everyone who drops off their empties.
Please reach out to Katie, or if you reach out to Dan, he’ll help you get in contact with her.

We have some honey! It’s best to text me (Dan) directly.
Hello, Facebook World! Katie rarely updates this, and she’s pretty terrible at updating the blog. It’s hard to juggle all of the bees at home, bees at school, teaching fifth grade, and teaching beekeeping 2 days a week after school while still having time for other things. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! I love talking about bees.
I didn’t really want to advertise much this year, but our bees have had another fantastic year. We have multiple seasons… contact me or Katie Olson Besaw. Katie is back teaching now, so it would be best to contact me directly.
It's official! We have this year's honey ready for sale (and some previous seasons as well)

Another amazing night of Northern Lights in Rochester tonight!
Hi, everyone! Just thought I’d let you know that we have a semi-secret stash of about 36 jars of honey from multiple harvests available! (We don’t advertise elsewhere any longer)

Besaw’s Bee Sauce
Katie started beekeeping in 2014. She took beekeeping classes with a friend (because it was free and random) and then surprisingly found herself purchasing her first 2 nuclear bee colonies. She’s been addicted to honeybees ever since, and introduced her husband Dan to the frustrating world of beekeeping in 2016. Now, in their spare time, they tend to the bees, catch swarms, render beeswax, bottle and sell honey, and help educate the community.
