Special interest groups have been engaging in a campaign of misinformation about the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit in an effort to convince Governor Hochul to change her mind about opting in. To be clear: The new program does not take one penny from public school funding and, in fact, both public and religious school students will be major beneficiaries of the program.
