Fermented foods can be hard to approach if you didn't grow up eating salty, sour and funky foods. Eating young, crunchy fermented veggies in small amounts can help your body and palate get used to what is a hugely beneficial and delicious food group!!
It's that time of the month!
Tomorrow (5/19) the FREE fermentation meet up is happening at 95 Mt Read Blvd door 14 at 6pm. New and experienced fermenters welcome!!
We're talking fermenting greens and herbs- the crown jewel of farmers markets right now π

I am in the business of slow food βΊοΈ
I know some folks have been asking about cheesecake bars and ferments. They are not gone, just taking their time!
Cheesecake bars will be back this weekend and ferments will be up and running by the end of May.
Thank you for your patience as I let things ferment
Brighton you came out yesterday!! Thank you for stopping by and making the first outdoor a huge success!!
Sorry to the folks that came a bit too late for "Wildcraft" I'll have more this Sunday!
And thank you to for the vegan chocolate cake- you need this in your life.
Guess whose back??
This Sunday at the first outdoor "Wildcraft" my spring seasonal is making it's 2026 debut!
Dill chive and lemon this pairs perfectly with spring picnics and lazy Friday afternoons when cooking isn't an option.
I love pairing this with tofurky ham or their pepper deli slices. Mustard, roasted almonds and hot pepper jelly wouldn't go amiss either.
See you Sunday!!
Happy Earth Day!!
