We had a great Friday- it was our final community circle of the year where students and staff were recognized for modeling LancersLEAD, Eastridge students installed our new Gaga pit, and there were a whole lot of Dr. Bello's in the building! 😂💙🩵🙌🏼

Mrs. Eichas, Mr. Treise and Mr. DeJohn's classes took a nature walk today paying special attention to what they could see, hear, smell, and feel in the world around them. Students used their senses to make observations and record notes to write nature poems!

Laurelton Pardee 3rd graders got an important, hands-on lesson in fire safety today thanks to the Irondequoit Fire Department! 🚒
Firefighters brought their safety trailer to school, where students stepped into a mock living room to identify potential fire hazards and learn how to stay safe. When “smoke” filled the room, students practiced escaping safely by crawling on their hands and knees.
They also learned the importance of having a plan. Each group met at a designated meeting spot and made sure everyone in their “family” was accounted for. Thank you to the Irondequoit Fire Department for helping our students build these life-saving skills!
