Hola from Barcelona, Spain! My name is Dara Levy. I will be a fourth-year dietetics and nutrition major this fall. This co-op is my last one! I am interning with SanaVida, a healthy fast food restaurant. I design meal plans for customers with specific sets of goals such as losing weight, gaining muscle, or want to have a healthier lifestyle in overall. This internship is a perfect combination of traveling and working at the same time. If you have the chance, you should intern abroad! This experience is something I will remember forever.

The picture was taken at The Belvedere in Vienna

This is my first time in Europe and I won't lie it was incredibly overwhelming at first. From different languages to different mannerisms to stores being closed on Sundays, moving to Vienna has been a huge adjustment for me. I am taking my time getting to know this beautiful city and taking complete advantage of my time in Europe. There is so much history and culture here - it's truly eye-opening and humbling. At the half-way point in my journey, I find myself extremely grateful for this international opportunity; not only am I gaining great technical knowledge during my co-op, but I am gaining invaluable personal experiences that are helping me learn and grow. is a 4th year Mechanical Engineering student

Our Co-op share her experience in Dublin. The work/life balance in Dublin is amazing. There are no laptops and emails during lunch hour, in the morning we sit together and talk about the following evening, and if it’s really nice out, we are encouraged to go take a walk or work outside at a cafe. I feel so much more productive and happier when I go to work and my boss told me to never feel like I am trapped inside the office. I work with a happy staff and it definitely makes the week and my overall coop very enjoyable. It definitely sets a new standard of what I will be looking for in a future employer.

“Cuenca, Ecuador is a beautiful city. It contains Colonial Spanish architecture. Cuenca is in the middle of the Andes mountains: I was absolutely mesmerized by the view! Everyone is so friendly there, as it is part of a collectivist culture. The food and atmosphere are incredible! I hope to return someday!” from ) Faiza took part in RIT summer fellowship in May 2018 @ Rochester, New York
