Today we're celebrating a huge milestone! Six staff members one year anniversary with The Goddard School of Rochester!

They have been with us since day one. They were here when we opened our doors, when we were still figuring things out, learning as we went, and making our fair share of mistakes along the way. Through all of it, they showed up. Every single day.

That kind of consistency doesn't go unnoticed. Starting something new is hard, and having someone who believes in what you're building enough to stick with you through the growing pains- that's rare, and we don't take it for granted.

Thank you, Anna, Ella, Heather, LeeAnnA, Mackenzie, & Sherry , for your dedication to our students, our families, and our team. Here's to one year down and many more to come! 🎈

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
