The future of Library Learning Lab - your thoughts wanted!
Greetings everyone!
In recent years, Library Learning Lab has seen a decline in attendance. Many factors affect this, most likely being the increase in homeschool opportunities from collaboratives and other groups. This is not a bad thing! Programs and services evolve with the needs of our patrons. We now need to reassess the Learning Lab program and how the Brighton Library can best serve the homeschool community. If that means we discontinue Learning Lab and transition to another program, that's ok! If it means increasing our materials for circulation, that's ok! All ideas are welcome! Please take a moment to share your thoughts with us in the Google Form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdxeE_V8FJK0Dd7o_LQSvFbnzb4pRbfWIB1PCHwsk8H7EInlg/viewform?usp=sharing).
I value your feedback, thank you!
Jennifer
Library Learning Lab
The Library Learning Lab is an education program at the Brighton Memorial Library with themed hands-on activities and exploratory centers for all learners.
The Library Learning Lab is the brainchild of several co-workers at the Brighton Memorial Library in an effort to develop a homeschooling program for the community. With a grant from the Farash Foundation and aid from Friends of Brighton Library, the program was able to reach fruition with its first program in June 2015.
