A student led program where university students visit local middle schools to engage and inspire students to pursue studies and careers in the STEM field.

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. In the past decade, interest and proficiency in the STEM fields have been diminishing in the United States. STEM initiative is a student led program where university students can engage with local middle school students to inspire them to pursue studies and careers in the STEM field. We hope that through active learning, we can motivate these students to be passionate about the sciences, and have a long lasting impact on them.
