Colin Smith in Webster led his hockey team to their first Section V Class B hockey championship in almost a decade!

One of the WFD Explorers (and soon to be WFD firefighter) is in the running to be named Athlete of the Week! Colin Smith is an outstanding young man who helped lead the Webster Schroeder hockey team to their first Section V, Class B championship in nearly ten years! Scouts needed for Annual Report Story! ACT FAST!

Would you like to be a feature in our annual report (image below is from one of our past annual reports)? We are looking for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA youth, Explorers, and Venturers for these potential concepts. Not all concepts will be used and not all Scouts who respond may be selected. If interested, please send the following information to [email protected] by Tuesday, February 8th: (1) your name & parents, (2) contact info/parents and yours, (3) a photo, and a (4) little bio what you've done that fits one of these concepts. Youth must be available for a 2 hour photo session between February 11th and February 25

- Eagle Scout who's done a service project assisting the elderly in some fashion.

- Venturer whose passion is canoeing or kayaking.

- Cub Scout or Scouts BSA member who's done CPR training/Merit Badge (and perhaps even used those skills in real life)

- Explorer - Firefighter Explorer who's eyeing it as a career.

- Cub Scout or Scouts BSA member who has done a food drive or volunteered in a food pantry

- Scouts BSA, Venturer who has served as a lifeguard teaching younger children to swim
