Join us for a summer filled with creativity, connection, music, art, movement, and self-expression in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Our summer session runs July 6 – August 24, with classes for children, teens, and adults. Whether you're returning to Spectrum or joining us for the first time, we'd love to create with you this summer!

What does a school-based music therapy role look like beyond the therapy room?

We asked our team a simple question: “How does this role fit into your life outside of work?”

Katie’s answer reflects things we care deeply about: building careers that support the whole person. Whether it’s time with family, pursuing creative passions, traveling, continuing education, or simply having space to recharge, our team members each bring their own perspective on how this work fits into a life well-lived.

This Saturday! If you missed our open hours this past Saturday, no worries! We will have open hours again this Saturday May 23rd from 10:30-12:30 with Special Guest, Spectrum Creative Arts. This past Saturday we guided a family through the OPWDD process- stop in if you need help navigating systems or need resources.

This one goes out to teens who like to ROCK 🤘 Rainbow Riot! is a queer-friendly inclusive and integrated rock band for teens - running this summer! ⚡️ No experience required. Call or visit us online to learn more!

Our office manager, Anna, represented Spectrum at Webster Public Library’s Diverse Abilities Resource Fair this past Saturday! 🌈 This fair connected attendees to Rochester area organizations that offer services, resources, or programs for people with disabilities. We were proud to be one of 60+ organizations in attendance in support of increasing inclusion and accessibility in our community. 🤝

These 8-week classes (July–August) are designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and create space for self-expression in a supportive community.

Already part of Spectrum? You’re all set—your current classes continue right into summer. Want to try something new? You can add a class just for the summer!

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or expanding your current schedule, this is a great season to explore something creative.

as a School-Based Music Therapist? We’re hiring for TWO Full-Time positions for applicants that are ready to start training and onboarding this Summer! (🗣️We love working alongside recent grads and new therapists!)

If you or someone you know loves working with kids, being on a closeknit team (no therapists alone on an island🏝️ here!), learning new ways to support neurodivergent and disabled children/teens/young adults guided by neuroaffirming frameworks, enjoys snowy winters and mild summers, and is eligible for board-certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC), we’d love to connect! 🤝
