Last weekend, Mrs. Stevens took 3 of our Longridge students to participate in NYSSMA Solo festival at Gates Chili High School. This is an event where students play graded solos, scales and sight reading in front of a certified adjudicator.

Great job Parker, Sophia, and William! And shoutout to Mrs. Stevens for supporting her students always!

Recently in Library, Ms. Hibbert did a lesson on The Fantastic Flying Books of Morris Lessmore with Ms. Tribunella’s class. Ms. Hibbert told the students how it was her favorite picture book! The next time they saw her the whole class surprised her with a wonderful note for being the best librarian and how they loved the story, and they all signed it♥️♥️♥️

Our final family event of the year is coming up and it's a Family Field Day!

This is different from our Field Day during the school day. It was planned by our Junior Lighthouse students! The idea for this event is for the whole family to get the experience of participating in Field Day fun. There will be lots of activities and their hope is that adults and kids can enjoy them together. Check out the flyer they made below! You can click on the link below to RSVP or scan the QR code!

This week our 5th graders had the opportunity to go enjoy a day out at the Red Wings game ⚾️⚾️⚾️

🎺🎷The Greece Marching band is recruiting new members! This is for students currently in 5th grade

Miss Stachowski and Miss Tichacek's students had a great time on their zoo field trip last week!

Last week, our Junior Lighthouse students visited the Ronald McDonald House. While they were there they made a meal for the guests, including dessert, and also did some light housekeeping. They had a great time and were a huge help to the organization. These kids were an amazing representation of what Longridge is all about!
