RIT Metaproject

RIT Metaproject Developed by RIT Professor Josh Owen in 2010 as an industrial design course with an industry partner "Metaproject” is now running in its sixth generation.

The course results will be juried and then shown during design week in New York City in May of 2016. RIT will publish a case study book which chronicles the methodology and output from the course, shedding light on the design process. The “Design is One” philosophy exposed by the Vignelli Center for Design Studies will be overlaid into the conversation, linking the work thematically to the Vignelli Center. The official sponsor will be revealed, following tradition, on the first day of class.
