Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts was chartered on December 17, 2013 by the New York State Department of Regents and is located in the Town of Greece, N.Y. The school has four sections of kindergarten, three sections of first grade, and two sections of second grade with a total student population of approximately 190 students. During the grow out period, the school will expand to grad

es K-6 with a total student population of just under 500 students. Over 92% of our students are from the Rochester City School District with the remaining students coming from suburban Monroe County. 86% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch and approximately 11% of our students qualified for special education services in the fall of 2014.

Camp ReAdy! That's me! 🌞

We are well into our 3rd week of camp and students are movin' and groovin'!

🫶🏾This week's theme is BELONGING, and learning how we can work as a team to create change.

Students are enjoying their academic focus in the morning, working on literacy and numeracy basics, and their enrichment in the afternoon out at our school garden and in our art and dance studios. 🩰🪴

This week, at Camp ReAdy, our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) focus was on Respect, Responsibility, and Accountability. 💙

Our students explored what it means to choose respect every day, how words have the power to build others up or tear them down, why kindness matters, and the importance of taking ownership of our actions.

These are life skills that help our students grow into compassionate, confident learners, both inside and outside the classroom.
