SOTA Concert Choir takes the stage at the Rochester Music Hall of Fame to honor SOTA alumnus Taye Diggs 🎶

What an incredible full-circle moment for our students—celebrating the legacy of someone who once walked the same halls, now recognized for his impact on the arts at the highest level. As our third high-profile performance of the year, this opportunity reflects the continued growth, dedication, and excellence of our singers.

Rochester Music Hall of Fame « Eastman Theatre Eastman Theatre - Performances in Hatch Recital Hall, Kilbourn Hall, and Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.

On March 20th, the SOTA Concert Choir performed in a joint concert with and . All together we performed Cry of Jeremiah by . We also had SOTA-only highlights, in which we sung The Word Was God by Rosephanye Powell and Total Praise by Richard Smallwood. It was a glorious night of choral music. It was awesome to be apart of such a big choir that performs at such a high level. Recordings to come soon!

For the first time in recent history, we sent NINE vocalists to MCSMA All County Mixed Choir. This is an honors choir with the best choral singers in Monroe County. These students were selected based off of their musicianship and commitment to our program. Congrats Alahna, Alani, Nat, Farren, Charizma, Evie, Alex, Amir, and Etienne! A few of our SOTA instrumental colleagues went for their respective ensembles as well.
