Lighting the Way is a Welcoming Ceremony to celebrate incoming First Year, Transfer and Graduate women to RIT on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 8 p.m. All RIT community members are invited to attend – new and returning students, alumnae, faculty, and staff. This special event features a Welcome Ceremony in the SAU, Davis Room at 8pm-8:30pm, followed by a lantern-lit procession and dessert reception at 8:45pm-9:30pm in the University Gallery. All new RIT women will receive a commemorative lantern for this event. This event is sponsored by the Center for Women and Gender.
