๐ Exciting News from The School of Communication! ๐
We are proud to announce that our very own Dr. Katrina Overby was the keynote speaker at the Gamma Iota Boule Foundationโs 8th Annual Recognition Ceremony. This yearโs theme was "Advocating for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion," a powerful call to action that resonated throughout the event.
The ceremony was a wonderful success, awarding scholarships to ambitious high school and college students and bestowing lifetime achievement awards on distinguished members of the Rochester community. Dr. Overby had the esteemed pleasure of sitting next to and sharing the program with Mayor Malik Evans and Don Alhart from Channel 13 WHAM.
Congratulations, Dr. Overby, on your outstanding contribution to this important event! Great job!
