Welcome to the Monroe Community College Engineering Leadership Council! Meetings for Spring 2016 ar
The ELC is a leadership organization with an engineering twist. MCC's Engineering Leadership Council offers several hands-on activities throughout the fall and spring semesters designed to pique students' interest in physics, mathematics, chemistry, and all engineering fields (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Civil, etc). From national robotics competitions to jello optics, from the egg
drop challenge to barbecue cookouts, the ELC offers something for everyone, even the non-engineer. Weekly meetings will consist of a hands-on activity or competition (balsa wood glider/bridge, diet coke and mentos cars, make your own speakers, etc) or a guest speaker from industry or academics. Past guest speaker topics have included: xerography, optics, and laser fusion. MEETING SCHEDULE: Wednesdays, 12:00pm-1:00pm, room 8-100, beginning January, 27, 2016.
