Kindergarten is off to a great start to the year here at Andrews Campus!

All Rochester Prep Elementary schools will be taking the NYS ELA Exam on April 19th and April 20th. Each year, the NYS Exam shows your student’s current performance and also pinpoints what they need to learn to be ready for the next grade level, high school, and college/careers.

Next week is going to be full of so many festivities! Scholars will get the opportunity to dress up and celebrate with their peers. Check out these fun themes for the week!

Chromebooks are a major resource that we utilize in the classroom. Scholars have access to different programs that help enhance their learning. They get the opportunity to work independently in a fun an engaging way.

⭐️ If you haven’t already please take a second to complete the digital equity survey. This survey helps nys distribute resources throughout different school districts. ⭐️

We utilize the Chromebooks for a variety of different topics in the classroom. The scholars are also given the opportunity to become more tech savvy. They truly enjoy being able to utilize these devices as a different way to grasp information.

Gym is one of the scholars’ favorite special. Definitely in the top three!😉🦁
Scholars enjoyed an activity that involved bean bags, trivia questions, music, and a variety of moves that had them traveling up and down the gym floor!

Our IA testing will begin tomorrow! This assessment will test the math skills that they have learned so far. Our scholars have worked hard to prepare for this exam and we know they are going to crush it!
