Morning everyone. Have a wonderful First Day of Class. Lets start the last semester of 17-18 academic year with a BANG!!
The East Coast region is currently experiencing bad weather/winter storm. To those who are travelling back to Rochester, drive safely and be extra cautious tonight.
If you are not rushing back, it is advisable for you to stop and rest while waiting for the storm to pass.

Enjoy your winter break, catch snowflakes, build snowman, and do the 'butterfly'.
For the seniors, enjoy your last snow here cuz you gonna miss em later hihihihi.

Yang Goh, a third-year chemistry major from Penang, Malaysia, is developing molecular detectors for peroxide. Her research could lead to ways to find peroxide-based bombs that can't be sniffed out by dogs. It could also detect peroxide in counterfeit malaria drugs. Goh is a College of Science Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow.
