Remembering Hanshi Steve Arneil
29 August 1934 – 2 July 2021

Five years on, we remember with respect and gratitude the legacy of Hanshi.

His dedication, discipline and lifetime of service to Kyokushin Karate continues to inspire generations of karateka across the world.

A teacher, leader and pioneer whose influence remains deeply felt within the BKK, IFK and wider Kyokushin family.

Forever remembered.

Registration is now open for the 34th American International Karate Championships (AIKC), scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Albion High School in Albion, New York.

The tournament is open to competitors from all styles and organizations and will feature:

• Knockdown Kumite
• Semi-Contact Kumite
• Open Hand Kata
• Weapons Kata
• Junior and Adult Divisions
