⚾ Welcome back, Coach Magliocco '79!

A proud AQ alumnus, former sectional champion, state championship coach, and longtime member of our football and baseball coaching staff, Coach Magliocco brings more than 35 years of experience and an unwavering commitment to Aquinas Baseball.

During his previous tenure as head coach, he led the Li’l Irish to four Section V Championships and the program’s first and only NYSPHSAA State Championship in 2009. He was named Section V Coach of the Year, All-Greater Rochester Coach of the Year, and NYS Coach of the Year that same year, and was later inducted into the Aquinas Institute Hall of Fame in 2020.

We’d also like to thank Coach Ray Manioci ‘08 for his leadership of the program since 2017 and are pleased that he will continue to serve the Li’l Irish as a program assistant and pitching coach.

After a hard-fought battle on the baseball diamond, our season came to an end today. While the outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, these boys gave everything they had—showing heart, determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the season! Our sectional run was great, but the memories made, brotherhood built, and lessons learned will last far beyond the final out. ☘️⚾️
