Visual prompts are such a wonderful way to talk with preschoolers about the behaviors we expect in the classroom. ❤️

Children remember what they see, and these simple images can help spark meaningful conversations. Instead of simply telling a child, “Don’t run” or “Don’t throw toys,” we can show them a situation and ask:

💭 What is happening in this picture?
💭 Is this safe?
💭 How does the other child feel?
💭 What could we do differently?
💭 What would YOU do?

The image helps make the lesson memorable, while the questions encourage children to think, communicate, and understand why our classroom rules matter.

At La Petite École, we want our preschoolers to learn to be kind, respectful, safe, and thoughtful friends. ❤️

Print them, laminate them, and bring them to circle time. The conversations are just as important as the pictures!

Bonjour ! A beautiful beginning at La Petite École. 🇫🇷

Our first week was filled with so much joy as we welcomed new little faces and reunited with our returning students.

We are especially grateful for our wonderful families. Their trust, support, and enthusiasm for our program mean so much to us.

Our newly designed classrooms were thoughtfully created to inspire curiosity, creativity, independence, and a love of learning. Watching our preschoolers explore their new environment has been truly special.

And did you know? If you want a child to learn from you, get down on their level, play with them, enter their world, and first earn their trust. Once they feel safe and connected, learning follows naturally. ❤️

That is at the heart of what we do at La Petite École.

We couldn’t be more proud of our little community or more excited for the beautiful year ahead.

We are incredibly happy and grateful to announce that La Petite École French Preschool is FULL for the 2026–2027 school year! 🎉

What began as a little dream has continued to grow because of the incredible trust, love, and support of our families and our community. Thank you for believing in our program, recommending us to your friends, and allowing us the privilege of being part of your children’s first school experience. It truly means more to us than words can express. ❤️

Our little classroom is ready to be filled with French, laughter, friendships, learning, and so many beautiful memories! 🇫🇷✨

📚 We are now accepting enrollments for the 2027–2028 school year.

My heart is so FULL ❤️🇫🇷

We have been busy setting up our classrooms for another beautiful school year at La Petite École, and seeing everything slowly come together brings me so much happiness. New furniture, new little spaces to play and learn, new décor, and so much love poured into every corner. ❤️

None of this would be possible without the incredible generosity and support of our La Petite École families. Your kindness and trust have truly overwhelmed me with gratitude. I hope you know how much your support means to me and to our little school. ❤️

We are creating more than a beautiful classroom. We are creating a place where our little ones can walk through the door and feel safe, loved, confident, and excited to learn.

I am SO happy with how everything is turning out, and we still have a little more magic to add!🥰

We cannot wait to welcome our little ones back and begin another year filled with laughter, learning, hugs, friendships, and lots of French! 🇫🇷❤️

Bon lundi! I have hundreds of photos with my preschoolers from over the years. I love looking back at them, they hold so many beautiful memories. ❤️

But this one has always meant something special to me.

She closed her eyes, nestled into my arms, and simply rested there. In that little moment, I could feel that she felt safe, loved, and completely at ease. ❤️

And to me, this is where learning begins.

Before I teach the ABCs, numbers, French words, or how to write their names, I want my children to know one thing first:

You are safe here.
You are loved here.
You belong here.

Because when a child feels safe and loved, they become confident enough to explore, play, make mistakes, ask questions, and learn.

That is my biggest goal every single day at La Petite École. The academics matter, of course, but the heart comes first.❤️

When my kids are happy, secure, and loved, the learning follows so naturally.

Love them first. Teach them second.❤️🇫🇷

Bonjour,
As a preschool teacher, one of my greatest passions is creating learning materials for my students. ❤️

I love turning letters and sounds into little stories and illustrations that make learning fun and meaningful. Today, I’m working on the sound A creating simple sentences, colorful illustrations, and a little world that helps children recognize, hear, and remember the sound.

Creating materials for La Petite École is one of my favorite parts of teaching. I truly believe children learn best when education feels joyful, beautiful, and made especially for them. 🇫🇷❤️

Bonjour and happy Monday! New furniture is getting put together at La Petite École, and we are so excited! ❤️🇫🇷

Our upper classroom is getting beautiful new furniture, made possible by the incredible generosity of our LPE families. We cannot thank our parents enough for donating and helping us raise the funds in record time!

Parent support means everything to us. I can’t wait to watch our classrooms take shape and welcome our LPE families back for another extraordinary school year! ✨

Still working on this piece, and I’m loving where it’s taking me.

Art makes me happy. My family loves watching me paint, but for me, painting is also an escape, a little place where I can disappear for a while. I escape myself, the noise, the expectations, and the world around me.

For a few hours, it’s just me, the colors, the texture, and whatever wants to come out on the canvas.

And then I come back.🥰 ❤️
