🎉 Happy 1st Birthday, Sensational Inclusion! 🎉

One year ago, this dream began as a simple idea—a hope to create a space where every child feels seen, valued, and supported. What started as a vision has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. 💙✨

This year has been filled with learning, laughter, challenges, and countless moments of joy. We’ve witnessed children thrive, families find support, and educators grow in their understanding of inclusion. We’ve celebrated victories, big and small, and navigated the tough moments with resilience and love.

Most of all, we’ve been reminded time and time again that community is everything. Sensational Inclusion wouldn’t be what it is without the beautiful souls who have walked through our doors, believed in our mission, and helped us build something truly special.

It’s such an incredible honor to collaborate with pediatric doctors in our community, sharing strategies and insights to support neurodiversity in the clinical space. Together, we’re creating affirming and inclusive environments for every child to thrive.

This election has left me breathless—breathless from our choices and our whys. But today, I found my breath again in the quiet of a museum, unsurprisingly. That’s the beauty of collections, especially those that cradle Black life, Black love, Black longing.

The truth is, I’ve been unwell. Mostly sad, part mad, but mostly sad.

But today, I felt my breath return, standing before art, held by its stillness, alone in peace, with restored breath.
