What a First Friday RoCo . 🎨✨

Our inaugural show, “The Kids Are Drawing Again,” opened its doors — original works by Sage Williams Sage✨ , curated by Caribago Designs™️ , filling our space at Village Gate with color and story. The show traces the artist’s own journey back to the page, a reminder that creative practice is never really finished — just becoming.

Sage didn’t stop at the frame. Coloring sheets pulled from the exhibition let our Marvelous Minds kiddos add their own hand to the work — turning viewers into collaborators and reminding everyone in the room why we do this.

The exhibition is up through Friday, September 11. Stop by during happy hour (weekdays at 6pm), grab a coloring sheet, and see it for yourself.

Happy Father’s Day to every dad, father figure, and steady hand who shows up. 🎣

Fatherhood doesn’t always look like a title — sometimes it’s the uncle who teaches you to cast a line, the grandfather who shares his favorite fishing spot, the family friend who never misses a moment, or the dad who shows up for every quiet afternoon by the water.

Today we celebrate biological dads, stepdads, adoptive dads, foster dads, single dads, dads who became dads through love and not just biology, and the father figures who fill that role even without the title.

To everyone holding down that role today — thank you. The patience, the presence, the quiet moments like this one by the lake — they matter more than words can say. 💙

Today, the Joy Meter at Marvelous Minds is reading sky high — and honestly, that makes us so happy.

It’s not by accident. It’s a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement, and to every Magic Maker who shows up each day to make this place what it is. When the joy is this high, you can feel it in the room: in the laughter, in the energy, in the way our kids show up as their full, curious, brave selves.

And what better day for it to peak than today — Juneteenth. A day of freedom, joy, and celebration. A day that reminds us why we do this work in the first place: building a space where every child, and every family, gets to be free to grow, free to play, and free to belong.

So today, we celebrate. We celebrate freedom. We celebrate community. We celebrate the joy that fills Marvelous Minds — and the magic that made it possible.

We’re excited to officially launch the Clarity Catalyst for Future Care Professionals — a youth work-study program designed to build the next generation of early childhood and community care leaders.

This 12-month, hands-on experience provides young people (ages 16–24) with real-world exposure to child development, classroom leadership, and workforce readiness — grounded in mentorship and values-based learning.

As we continue building workforce-aligned childcare solutions, investing in talent pipelines like this is essential.

We welcome partnerships with schools, youth programs, and community organizations to help connect motivated young people to this opportunity.
