Beginning Steps Child Development Center is a licensed childcare center located in Rochester, Illinois. Since 1995, we have been providing individualized, loving care for the children we serve. Activities in each of our classrooms are carefully planned to make learning fun and The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool ensures that your child will be ready for school when they graduate from our program into Kindergarten.

Beginning Steps will be OPEN tomorrow. We have a limited number of school age spots for tomorrow. In order to bring your child for the school age program, you must get in touch with me prior to drop off! We will be CLOSED tomorrow due to the weather. Sangamon County and Rochester are pulling their plows off of the road for the night leaving us unable to open at 6:30am. We are at a Level 2 where they are asking people to remain off of the roads with no idea when it will return to Level 1. Be safe and see you all Tuesday.

2nd Annual Small Business Trunk or Treat is in the works. We'd like to try to get all Rochester trunk or treats on the same day again this year for convenience of parents/guardians. We are aiming for Sun Oct 27th for ours. More details to come.
