’s Preschool 2 classroom wrapped up their exciting week of learning about birds in the best way possible—by becoming little birdwatchers! 🐦🔍

After creating their very own binoculars, the class headed for a nature walk to spot birds in their natural habitat. With eyes wide and imaginations soaring, the children searched the trees, listened for chirps, and practiced identifying different birds they’ve been learning about all week.

It was the perfect hands-on ending to a fun and educational journey, bringing their lessons to life in a way only curious preschoolers can. Great job, Preschool 2! 👏🏼

Please join us in congratulating Hayleigh Strege, our new center director at Toddler’s Workshop! 🌟

Hayleigh has been an integral part of our community since joining Expressive Beginnings in February 2020 as a lead preschool teacher. In September 2022, she transitioned into the role of preschool program advisor, where she began building even stronger connections with both staff members and families. She then stepped into the assistant director position in August 2023, continuing to grow her leadership and impact within our center.

Hayleigh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development with a minor in Psychology. She is also a mother, and her daughter attended Expressive Beginnings from infancy through preschool, giving her a meaningful and personal connection to our program and community.

Over the past months, Hayleigh has stepped into the interim director role with grace, compassion and professionalism. We are incredibly proud to have Hayleigh leading Toddler’s Workshop and look forward to the continued growth and success of the EBCC Webster community under her leadership.
