Hello RMS Families,
It is almost that time, time to start school! In this week's Rochester Minute Newsletter, you will find a lot of detailed information to start the school year. Please note that the first day of school for students in first through sixth grade will be Wednesday, September 2nd and on Friday, September 4th is the kindergarteners official first day, which is also an early release. Our dismissal will begin at 12:25 PM.
We can't wait to greet all of our students this coming week. Don't forget about Chalk the Walk sponsored by our PTO starting on August 31st at 10:00 AM.

Dear Rochester Memorial School Families,
We are excited to welcome everyone in grades 1-6 back on Wednesday, September 2nd.

Our kindergarten students will have Orientation on Thursday, September 3rd and their first day of school will be Friday, September 4th. The kindergarten placement letters have been mailed out today and will have more detailed information about the first week of school.

Students in grades 1 through 6 may access their child's PowerSchool to identify their child's homeroom teacher for the school year.
We look forward to seeing everyone soon.

I know families are anxious to know about class placement and supply lists. We will communicate out when families will have access to their PowerSchool. In early to mid August families will need to log into PowerSchool to update their annual forms and that is where you will see who your child has for teacher. If you want to buy some basic supplies where things are on sale, I'm sure it will not go to waste. I hope you are enjoying your summer ⛱️

What a beautiful weekend we had. Please note that Friday, June 19th, we do not have school because it is the Juneteenth Holiday. We do have a half-day on Monday, June 22nd.
