UofR Soca SOCA uses social and cultural programs to establish and maintain strong relationships among Caribbean students within the university & Rochester community.

Through relevant social and cultural programs, SOCA works to establish and maintain strong relationships among Caribbean students within the university and greater Rochester community. Although the islands of the Caribbean/ West Indies are separated by water they are united by culture and so it is our mission to increase awareness and education about our various regions by sharing our Caribbean cultures with the public. While our organization is Caribbean/ West Indian based, it is by no means Caribbean/West Indian exclusive. All are welcomed to celebrate our culture and heritage with us!
