As 2012 draws to a close, the ROHA project invites local citizens interested in recording an oral history about their work lives to contact the ROHA project via our website. We are interested in recording stories about careers of all kinds!

We keep lots of images but rarely voices, yet the sound of people we were close to can bring back an extraordinary intimacy.

Oakland University students started conducting their interviews at the StoryCorps booth today. It's not too late to make your own appointment. The MobileBooth will remain in Detroit through August 11, 2012.

Eight Oakland University students enrolled in WRT 382 have appointments to interview people about their work experiences in the StoryCorps MobileBooth in July. More appointments will be available after July 11th.

Oakland University students enrolled in WRT 382 will be recording "Work Stories" with interested participants as part of the Rochester Oral History Archive's summer activities.
