Last week Rochester Childfirst Network had the opportunity to participate in a local South Wedge community event with other businesses, services, and government organizations represented. Ice cream from Netsin's Ice Cream was a great treat!

🌟 Want to know what makes our students want to come back every single week? 𝗥𝗖𝗡 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 is giving our students a summer full of learning that doubles as fun. Each week centers on a new theme, like Summertime Frenzy, Garden, and Superhero, weaving physical education, arts, and STEM into hands-on adventures.

Our 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 (ages 5–7) and 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 (ages 8–12) each learn in ways suited to their age group. Throughout the summer, that includes special outings like planting and exploring in a farm garden or training through ninja warrior style challenges built just for them.

Field trips and enrichment activities like these do more than create memories, they play a key role in developing young brains, building curiosity, problem-solving, and confidence that lasts well beyond summer.

In this role, you'll:
🗣️ Provide speech and language therapy to preschool children
🤝 Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
📚 Develop and support IEP goals
❤️ Help children build the communication skills they need to succeed in school and beyond
