🏒 BIG NEWS for Rochester Hockey! 🏒
We are thrilled to announce that the Rochester Ice Center and Station 31 Ice Arena have been selected to host the 2027 USA Hockey Tier II Boys 16U National Championship — coming to Rochester, NY, March 31 – April 4, 2027! The tournament will bring together 40–48 of the nation's elite youth hockey teams and an estimated 600 athletes competing for a national title.
Games will be played across Rochester Ice Center's three NHL-sized rinks and the newly renovated Station 31 Ice Arena in Fairport — both championship-caliber venues ready for the national spotlight.
"Rochester is emerging as one of the premier hockey towns in the country," said Chris Collins, VP of Corporate Development at Rochester Ice Center. "We are excited to celebrate our growth, our community, and the players who embody the heart of hockey."
And the impact goes beyond the ice. The championship is projected to generate more than $1.5 million in direct visitor spending for the greater Rochester region, with visiting teams, families, and fans exploring everything our city has to offer.🎉
