Ridgecrest Academy students in Kelly Adkins and Sam Hodge's class enjoyed a fun taste-test lesson in Cooking Class! 🍎👩‍🍳They tried apples with a variety of toppings, including peanut butter, cinnamon, cream cheese, caramel and Greek yogurt. Students had the opportunity to taste each combination and share whether they liked or didn’t like it. It was a fun and delicious way to explore different flavors and practice sharing their preferences! ❤️

Planning for life after high school starts here! 🌟

Families and students are invited to the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Transition Program Information Night on Thursday, Oct. 1, to learn more about programs and opportunities for students with disabilities ages 18-21 as they transition from school to adulthood.

Representatives from Village Plaza, Paul Road, Roberts Wesleyan and the BELL Program at Roberts Wesleyan University will be available to answer questions and share information about their programs.

The Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Transition Program Information Night will be held Thursday, Oct. 1.

Designed for families and students with disabilities ages 18-21, the evening is an opportunity to learn more about transition programs that help students prepare for life after school.

5-5:45 p.m. — Transition Program overview
5:45-6:30 p.m. — Q&A for programs and agencies
