The photos are in, and we can't help but wish it was still orientation! Our day at Camp Arrowhead was filled with team building, community, and a little friendly competition. Activities spanned from climbing activities, archery, an egg drop competition, and so much more!

Honors Hour is back this Friday, and it's another exciting event! The will be presenting about Alternative Break, a week-long volunteer trip that runs over Spring Break. This is another year of exciting locations, so you won't want to miss this! Since this is during our regular Honors Hour event, pizza and drinks will be included.

The SLC is collaborating with this Saturday, so make sure to register on CampusGroups if you would like to participate in this roadside cleanup. This event is approved for complementary learning, and is a great way to give back to the Rochester community.

This Wednesday is the University-Wide Career Fair! Email us your resume, and we'll print 10 copies for you to use. Make sure to send us a PDF by Tuesday night.

During Honors Orientation, students and mentors came together to make rechargeable electric blankets for those in need in our community. The completed blankets were donated to to provide comfort and support to individuals and families in Rochester.

How is it that it's already week four? It's a relatively calm week in the Honors Program after the Corning Museum of Glass trip yesterday, but we have two opportunities to earn complementary Learning this week!

The second Honors Council meeting of the year is tomorrow night, and the Service & Leadership Committee is hosting a Veterans Day Card Making event on Friday.

How is it possible that Honors Orientation was already three weeks ago?!

During Orientation, we welcomed more than 150 students to the program. Our two-day experience included an on-campus informational day followed by a team-building day at Camp Arrowhead!

Friday was all about getting to know the Honors Program. Students learned more the program, met their Honors Mentors, and rotated through an assortment of activities.

We’re so excited to get to know our new students better and watch them grow, connect, and make the most of their Honors experience throughout the semester. Here’s to a great year ahead!

Join us this week for an extended Honors Hour event! This week we will begin at 11:00am instead of our regular 11:30am-12:30pm time, because we have a special event with Professor Joel Gallegos Greenwich. Joel will be teaching a faculty-led study abroad course during the spring semester, so come to this week's Honors Hour event to learn more about this opportunity!

Additionally, Council Delegate nominations close this Tuesday, so if you know someone that would be a good fit, be sure to fill out the form! Elections will open later this week.

If you signed up to attend the Honors trip to the Corning Museum of Glass trip this weekend, make sure to check you emails for updates and further information! As always, feel free to reach out with any questions.

Honors Orientation would not have been possible without the help of our amazing mentors! While they aren't all featured in this video, we can't help but admire all of the time, effort, and positive energy they brought.

Honors Mentors leave a lasting impact on students, and we were so lucky to have such an incredible group of 24 Mentors and 3 Lead Mentors this year!

It's hard to believe it's already week two! The first Honors Council meeting is this Monday, and donuts will be provided! Not only do Council meetings count as half an hour of complementary learning, but it's also a great way to meet new people and share your ideas.

Office Chats are also back this week! We are still in the brainstorm phase of renaming this event, but it's still the program you know and love.

Honors Weekly is back! Check out what’s happening this week in the Honors Program.

On Wednesday, registration opens at 9:00am for the Honors Corning Museum class trip! There are limited spots available, so be sure to sign up as soon as registration opens.

Honors Hour is also back, starting this Friday! For our new students, Honors Hour is a bi-weekly event that typically features an activity, presentation, craft, or other fun experience. Pizza, snacks, and drinks are also provided at every Honors Hour event.

And finally, the annual Yard Games with Honors Council event is happening this Friday! Join members of Honors Council for some fun yard games and popsicles. We hope to see you there!
