Heading off to college with a full scholarship under your arm is quite an accomplishment and, as a newly minted CAR alumna is about to do just that, a couple of local media outlets have noticed.

Jane ’26 received her award from the Evans Scholarship Foundation. The Foundation gives scholarships to high school golf caddies based on strong records for assistance on the golf course, excellent academics, and exemplary character. Jane will use her scholarship to attend the University of Maryland.

Congratulations to our 2026 graduates! We are going to miss each of their beautiful smiles and the joy they brought to our school, but we know they are off to accomplish great things. 𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧 - As they finish up their last few weeks of high school, the six CAR seniors (at last count) who will be going on to four-year colleges will make use of an estimated $160,000 in academic grants and athletic scholarships. In recent weeks the list of colleges to which they have been accepted has expanded some, and includes:
- The University at Albany
- Ave Maria University
- Benedictine College
- Bucknell University
- Case Western Reserve University
- Catholic University of America
- Clarkson University
- The University of Delaware
- The University of Maryland
- Midland University
- Monroe Community College
- Ohio State University

May is the month of St. Mary, and Chesterton Academy of Rochester held its May Crowning to recognize her as Queen of Heaven and Mother to all the faithful.
