Chesterton Academy of Rochester welcomed its newest freshman class when instruction began on September 10. The group of ten, including full-time and ร  la carte students, will read Homer, study astronomy, and construct proofs in Euclidean Geometry. May God bless all of them as they begin their classical education journey at the high school level.

Heading off to college with a full scholarship under your arm is quite an accomplishment and, as a newly minted CAR alumna is about to do just that, a couple of local media outlets have noticed.

Jane โ€™26 received her award from the Evans Scholarship Foundation. The Foundation gives scholarships to high school golf caddies based on strong records for assistance on the golf course, excellent academics, and exemplary character. Jane will use her scholarship to attend the University of Maryland.

Congratulations to our 2026 graduates! We are going to miss each of their beautiful smiles and the joy they brought to our school, but we know they are off to accomplish great things. In recent weeks the list of colleges to which they have been accepted has expanded some, and includes:

- Ave Maria University
- Benedictine College
- Bucknell University
- Case Western Reserve University
- Catholic University of America
- Clarkson University
- The University of Delaware
- The University of Maryland
- Midland University
