Last night, we had the opportunity to learn from our colleague, Katie MacKenzie, who presented on the benefits of Social Thinking methods as part of The Norman Howard School’s “Ignite Learning Series,” made possible by Audrey Holley. The series is designed to bring new ideas and approaches into classrooms and communities, sparking fresh thinking and practical strategies for schools and families.

Katie emphasized that many students struggle not because of a lack of motivation or ability, but because they process social information in different ways. She also shared practical tools she uses every day to support our students at The Norman Howard School. Thank you, Katie, for sharing your expertise and for the meaningful work you do to support our students every day!
