Our company was founded, by a single mother, who understands the struggle of needing reliable childcare. 123 Grow daycare was created to help support all children and families in the city of Rochester. We do this by offering after hours childcare programs, assisting with subsidy applications, and constantly training and learning new techniques to ensure we provide the best care. Our director has over 15 years of experience in this field, and a bachelors degree in early childhood education. Our lead teacher, is a local artist, who has completed her CDA and has ten years of experience. Our goal is to teach our children to identify, process and appropriately handle their emotions, and feelings. Our program has designated areas designed to help handle those feelings that make us most uncomfortable. Children are encouraged to go to our rest and relaxation areas, when they're feeling angry or overwhelmed. We provide a safe place where children control their environment relying on exploratory learning and life experiences to strengthen their cognitive, emotional, mental, and physical development.
123 Grow shines a flashlight on each child’s path through development, while respecting that it is their journey. Our staff are facilitators, while the children are the professional explorers. We understand that through nurturing and feeding their curiosity, we are stimulating and expanding their minds. Freedom to express, believe, create and most importantly to exist, happily. We provide nutritional meals and snacks, and all field trips are free. At 123 Grow there are 4 different providers available to accommodate rigorous work schedules and to ensure we meet the needs of every child in care.
