A fast time tells us what happened.
Tracking speed metrics over time tells us how it happened.
Just like how we measure strength progress, we can measure and monitor speed development as well. This helps us with understanding where speed is gained, where improvements are needed, and how to keep progressing.
The goal isn’t just to record a faster time but understand the process behind it and create a clear roadmap for continued speed development.

1 MPH in sprint speed can be the separation between making the play or missing it, creating space or even getting caught.
Small improvements can create big advantages when every fraction of a second counts when competition is at its highest.

Doing drills with intent will increase your capabilities and improves your performance.
Gabby’s improvement from 5.11 to 4.82 to 4.73 was the result of staying consistent, trusting the coaching and focusing on the little details.
