Door decorating fun for homecomming earlier this week.
Our Homecoming fun today was making our own lunch, enjoying that lunch with our friends, then watching a movie together!
Happy Homecomming from RHS Life Skills. 🏈🦓

Just saw this and had to share because some of the most amazing people I know are IA's. ❤️ RHS Life Skills Class is so blessed to have such amazing Teacher's aids involved with our students!
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para,
a Teacher's Aide,
a Para-Educator,
a Para-Professional.
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para wipping a nose.
A Para wiping tears.
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para pushing a wheelchair around 3rd base.
A Para cheering and yelling, "go straight."
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para repeating a math problem,
a Para sharpening a pencil,
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para showing a student how to go through the lunch line,
and how to make new friends.
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para teaching a student the box step, so he can ask a girl to dance.
A Para reminding students to be kind.
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para teaching a student how to tie their shoes,
or change their clothes.
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para repeating a zoom lesson.
A Para cleaning a classroom.
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
there's a Para making games out of homework.
A Para stiking clever deals to see progress.
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
There's a Para lying awake at night.
A Para anxious about a new day.
All for the love of a child.
Somewhere out there,
There's you.
A Teacher's Aide.
A Para-Educator.
A Para-Professional.
The backbone.
The silent force that move quickly and quietly through the school.
THIS IS MY SHOUT OUT TO YOU!!!!
You are forgotten by many,
But most importantly,
a HERO to some.
For those who are,
or who ever have been,
A PARA.
I know you do this each and everyday,
all for the love of a child.
Copied and pasted.
Feel free to do the same.

Work and play... all in one day!
We wrapped up the 22-23 School year working together on our recycling endeavors, exploring a new job of collecting cans for the scrap yard, a picnic at the park where we practiced our good manners and social skills. Then, to wrap it all up, some classroom shenanigans. 😉 I am so proud to have been with this group this year! They are each so amazing!! a

Our class has been working on a new project the past couple weekes. We designed, tie-dyed, and pressed the vinyl on our shirts.
Stay tuned for pictures of the finished products.
