As a PGY2 residents, you rotate at two community hospitals in addition to Strong Memorial Hospital, where you will perform a breadth of cases including cholecystectomies, hernias, mastectomies, vascular procedures, and much more with a mix of academic and private practice surgeons! We continue to grieve the loss of our dear Dr. Schwartz, especially on what would have been his 93rd birthday today. We are truly honored to be part of his legacy and will continue to pursue excellence in his memory!

The best present this year has been seeing our residents, APPs, nurses, attendings, environmental workers, and other healthcare heroes receive their COVID-19 vaccine over the course of the last few weeks!
