Had a great day at the Prairieland Choral Festival with these crazy kids. Proud of these guys for being selected, and for giving up their day to sing and learn and represent RHS so well! AND two of them - Elliot and Erin - were selected for solos in the concert to boot! Proud director!! Congrats to Kolton, Nathan, Jackson, Erin, Erin, Olivia, Remy, Tanner, Sophia, Elliot, Sammie, and Alex on a great day of music making! Go Rocket singers!

What a fantastic musical and magical journey we experienced this past week at Disney World - four days in the parks, a performance workshop with a professional Disney singer and teaching artist, a beautiful, well-prepared, well-executed, and exciting combined choirs performance at Disney Springs, tons of laughs, lots of sun and pool time, a LOT of hours on the buses 😂, and lots of forever memories made together! Kudos also to our RHS Band on their outstanding parade march in Magic Kingdom and a successful performance workshop - and especially to our 30+ students who participate in BOTH RHS choir and band programs. So so very proud of all our young artists for their dedication, commitment, performances, and the ways they positively represented our department on this special adventure. So very thankful, too, for our great staff and outstanding music department chaperones that worked so very hard and showed incredible commitment to the students and each other this past week.

What an amazing trip! So thankful - congratulations to all!!
