‼️‼️Your Input Matters: Help Shape the Future of DHH Education!‼️‼️

The Office of Special Education Programs and Rehabilitation Services (OSERS) is seeking public input on how states measure success for students with disabilities. This is our chance to ensure that federal indicators (SPP/APR) prioritize meaningful outcomes for DHH students over mere paperwork compliance.

ACE-DHH has officially submitted a letter of support advocating for indicators that truly reflect the quality of education our students receive. Now, we need YOU to join us!

Why participate?

Address whether the LRE indicator is inadvertently influencing placement decisions.
Advocate for data that measures real school success.
Help reduce the administrative burden on educators and families.

🗓️ Deadline: May 22, 2026
🔗 Take Action: Please submit your comments in response to the IDEA Part B State Performance Plan (SPP) and Annual Performance Report (APR) notice.

Happy Saturday! We are heading into the final day of the ACE-DHH 2026 Annual Conference.

We’ll start the morning with breakfast and breakout sessions, followed by our Luncheon Banquet at 1:00 PM where we will share closing remarks and present this year’s awards. 🏆

Reminder: The Board Transition Meeting for outgoing and incoming members will take place at 3:30 PM in the Bounce House (Room A).
