All training is provided - some things we do are respond to medical calls, car accidents, fight fires and provide community outreach for fire safety and prevention. You must live within 5 minutes of the fire hall. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

📅Courses to be held September 24, 2026 to December 19, 2026.

⏰Join our weekly Virtual Meetings, Thursdays (7PM-9PM) and Skills/Scenario Days Saturday (9AM- 12PM)

🤏Not looking for the full EMT Course, we will be running a concurrent Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course; same time, same days, reduced price, with different curriculum requirements!

🩺Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) looking to give back to your community and volunteer on your local First Responder or Ambulance Service? We got you covered! We'll also have RN-to-EMT options for the course; condensed curriculum, skills/scenario days, and Field Experiences with local Ambulance Services, all with that beloved reduced price!

Our wonderful, amazing, selfless friend Katie was involved in a terrible car accident this morning on her way to the coffee trailer for her usual toasty cloud order. She is in critical condition and while a lot remains unknown, she and her family have a long road ahead of them.
Katie is the definition of selfless. She is a hardworking mom of two, a wife, friend, EMT, and recently became a paramedic. She spends so much of her life taking care of others, and now is on the other end of that.

On a personal note, I joke that Katie is my son Cole’s future mother-in-law. Our kids “married” each other with ring pops in my kitchen this spring, so needless to say, she and her family are very special to us. She is a regular at the coffee trailer and our staff and I always look forward to seeing her at the window.
Instead of spending these last weeks of summer with her kids and preparing for her oldest to start kindergarten, Katie is facing a long recovery and her family is navigating a complete change in their lives.

So this Saturday, we’re doing what we can to help. 100% of our sales will be donated to Katie and her family.

We need some help…

Katie came into Alex’s EMT class in the fall of 2023 with a drive and a genuine desire to help others. It was clear from the beginning that she had a passion for EMS and a heart for serving her community.

That passion didn’t stop with becoming an EMT. Katie continued to push herself and went on to Paramedic School, taking the next step in her journey to provide an even higher level of care to patients in their most critical moments.

Now, Katie needs our help.

The EMS community is more than a profession; we are a family. We support one another, celebrate each other’s accomplishments, and stand beside our brothers and sisters when they need us most.

Katie has spent her time learning, serving, responding, and helping others. Now it’s our turn to help her.

Please consider supporting Katie and helping her continue the journey she started back in that EMT classroom in 2023.

Sometimes, helping someone doesn’t mean riding in the ambulance or answering a 911 call.

Sometimes, it means simply showing up for one of our own. ❤️🚑

AUGUST 04, 2026- LEROY, MN

Chad spent the evening with LeRoy Area Ambulance crews conducting our new Heart and Lung lab.

This curriculum focused on an in-depth review on heart and lung anatomy and physiology. The training emphasized how these systems function in both normal and emergent conditions, directly linking anatomical concepts to pre-hospital assessment, decision-making, and patient care for EMS providers.

Hands-on practical allowed for anatomy and physiology concepts, normally seen inside the body, to be visualized and reviewed with a hands-on assessment.

AUGUST 4, 2026- BYRON, MN

👉Tonight, Byron MN First Responders had one of their quarterly Medical Direction Consortium trainings; topics included Obstetrics- Normal and Abnormal Deliveries, Neonatal Resuscitation, and Pediatric Medicals & Transport.

Volunteer first responder services are the backbone of many rural EMS systems. Their willingness to answer the call at any hour, often while balancing full-time jobs and family responsibilities, makes timely emergency care possible.

Every pre-hospital childbirth highlights the value of investing in volunteer recruitment, education, training, and support, ensuring that rural families continue to receive high-quality emergency care close to home when every minute matters.
