EMSPlumbline supports EMTs and Paramedics that are attempting to keep up with their recertification We can help. We built something that will assist you.

EMSPlumbline began in 2008 as a means to support EMTs and Paramedics that were attempting to keep up with their recertification requirements. We are constantly looking to see how we can improve the recertification process. Our team has learned that training officers are working within budgetary restraints that seem to get tighter every year. Many agencies have explained that they have unique scheduling concerns. All the while, the requirements for transporting and non-transporting agencies seem to increase. Moving to on-line CME is often a means to alleviate scheduling concerns. However, we at EMSPlumbline have learned that on-line CME is not something that all medics find easy to navigate. Did you wait until the last minute to get started on your CME? Are you having a hard time figuring out what CME you need or where to find it? Do you want to work with people that love this profession and are trying to create educational opportunities that drive professionalism and preparedness? That’s us! Do you believe that the training that you receive should be specific to job function? So do we! Do you want to build a system for your people that provides excellent in-house training and on-line training that are congruent. Well, that is why we built this company. The most important thing for you to know about our business is that we are here for the right reasons! Our goal is to support Excellence in EMS Education that results in outstanding patient care.

Many of you have heard me speak of how little I think of fire and EMS awards over the years. I usually talk about how much I despise the process. I must acknowledge that this year, I am somewhat of a hypocrite. NYS has twelve award categories. I doubt there are many years where one of the 18 regions takes home three of the twelve awards. The Monroe-Livingston Region was on stage for four this year. Yes, it is true. I am very proud of my colleagues. No, I am not a fan of these award ceremonies. However, I am thrilled to see four people win awards because I have tremendous respect for all four of these individuals.
