Rising senior marketing major Kelsea Socha and Dr. Katie Burakowski, interim assistant dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, took their Fisher experience to the global stage, working side-by-side in hospitality at the World Cup at MetLife Stadium.

25 years... 25 days to go!

This summer marked the 25th Annual Buffalo Bills Training Camp at St. John Fisher University — and with just 25 days until the Bills kick off their 2026 season, it felt like the perfect time to celebrate the people and partnerships that make Fisher such a special place.

Fisher faculty and staff were joined by some wonderful friends and members of our local business community, including Marie Kamp and her Paychex team (Rekha Kinsman and Milla Litzburg ’23, — not pictured!), Angelina DeMent ’26 and Lou DeMent, Steve Conger of the Penfield Business Chamber, and Joe Carzo ’90 and Francesca Carzo ’24, current MBA.

A special thank-you to our Fisher crew for bringing everyone together: Dan Connolly, Joon Yong Seo, Kristin Lennarz, Christine Bataille, and Hugh Lambert.

Congratulations to Rebecca Pelino ’86 and Daniel J. Boyce Esq. ’79 on their appointments as chair and vice chair of the St. John Fisher University Board of Trustees. Rebecca also makes history as the first alumna to serve as board chair.

As dedicated alumni and longtime supporters of Fisher, their leadership, service, and commitment to the University's mission will help guide its next chapter. We look forward to the impact they'll make as Fisher continues to build on the momentum of its Fisher 2030 strategic vision.

St. John Fisher University extends its sincere gratitude to Cheryl Yawman '86 and Philip Yawman for their generous investment in the School of Business.
