Our members loved hearing from Pittsford Fine Art's Chris Manaseri, Bill Finewood, and Jerry Alonzo! They shared valuable insights into the local art scene, art education, professional illustration, and their experiences running a collaborative gallery. 🎨

Next, Master Gardener Bob Beabout unpacked the legacy of Frederick Law Olmsted, the pioneer of urban parks. 🌳 We explored the history of Central Park and the Rochester (now Monroe County) Park System, which Olmsted partially designed. Thanks to all our speakers!

Knitting truly connects people! Our Purls of Wisdom Special Interest Group enjoyed a wonderful meetup at Lift Bridge Yarns in Fairport. We’re remote students of Gale Ulvang’s Let’s Keep Knitting at Chico State (CA), and finally got to meet one of our classmates who was visiting family in Rochester! 🧶✨(L-R): Sue Boardman, Victoria Bernhardt (Chico), Cindy Proano, Joan Dupont.

☀️ Kicking off the summer with some amazing adventures!
🍷 Wine Enthusiasts (and a special grandson!) enjoyed a delicious lunch at the historic Swan Market.
👟 The Walking Group soaked up the sun with a lovely stroll along Lakeshore Boulevard.
🌳 Osher learners explored beautiful Highland Park with a knowledgeable guide.
What a perfect start to the season!

We were thrilled to be invited to the Senior Resource Fair at the Webster Public Library. With over 48 local Rochester-area organizations participating, it was the perfect place to connect and discover valuable resources for our community! The event was so well organized and incredibly well attended. Wonderful to see so many people engaging and building connections!
