"Understanding a student’s “Why?” can be a first step in nurturing their success...[in the] Academic Success Center, staff and student employees work with students to find their intrinsic values and inspire them to work in accordance with those values.
In partnership with the Career Services and Cooperative Education Office, RIT students can explore their motivations to learn and work, as well as plan for a future of values-based living. 'Connecting what is going on intrinsically with students to their external demands and deadlines is where the magic is at."

Your mind needs rest too, so remember to take breaks. A great way to prepare for a big exam is to get a good night’s rest. Rest before an exam or presentation, will help your brain perform better.

Get easily distracted? A way to avoid distractions is to study in an environment where you can focus. Try to create a designated study spot at home or even a quiet spot on camps. A couple of great on-campus study spots are Wallace on Ice, the Reading Room in the Campus Center, and the University Services Center.

Mosaic is on the top floor of the Student Alumni Union. Inside Mosaic and around the space are a few spots where students can study. This is usually a popular spot since it has outlets, so be sure to get there early before it fills up!

The Student Innovation Hall is a round, open space and usually quiet, which makes it the perfect place to study in between classes. The open space is set up classroom style, which is also good for meetings or presentations.
